Hi all, not sure if this is the the most appropriate section but...

I am looking for an A4 size light box to use in my drawing and watercolour hobby, any suggestions as to a good quality one please?

Many thanks indeed.

Sorry, should have made myself a little clearer, like this...

Not seen such a question before, so for clarity (no pun intended)? I used to use, back in my slide film days, a lightbox (approx A4 size) to view & sort them using a large magnifying lens. Still got it somewhere....it has two daylight temp fluorescent tubes in it.

So for your intended use, is it to lay the artwork on or to illuminate (light) your workspace???

Hi Box Brownie, yes to lay artwork and trace around it. I would like the flat surface to lay the original image onto and then cover that with watercolour paper and copy/trace it so I can paint it.

I'm thinking if I print my image onto drawing paper and then trace that, apply water colour and (finger crossed) I can frame my finished article.

I thought that might be the case :)

Ok FWIW, I got s Daylight brand craft work light for SWMBO and it is well made and works a treat. I have looked and found they also make light wafers (as they call them)

Hope that helps?

PS on their own website https://daylightcompany.com/daylight-lights/?products-page=1&sector=arts-and-graphics

Scroll down and it appears they also supply translucent cutting mats to compliment the light wafers!

Thanks guys (y)
