Yeah, I think it'smore to do with removing the reliance on labels with a certain cache (sp? 
) to support his lack of self confidence and feelings of social integration.
Common problem in those who have no love in their lives apart from the love of money.
Really, would you like a mercedes and nice house now and die of a heart attack at 45 from stress and overwork? Or live to 95 on an average to low income, safe in the knowledge that you will see your kids grow up and that you understand the true meaning of life?
I knowthat's a gross and sweeping generalisation but it's how I feel about stuff like this. This bloke should probably be held up as a shining example ofall that is wrong with materialism and todays society and how easy it is to throw of the shackles of our capitalist oppressors!

I now think far less of him than I did before.... never heard of him before mind you
So he burnt all his possesions. Never considered doing something worhtwhile with them then. seems a bit self-important to me.
