Life story

Watching this on bbc and have to say no body can make a nature programme as wonderful and exciting as David Attenborough fantastic filming and totally breathtaking

Totally agree.
There's no one else can touch him.

You're right he can produce a wonderful program but the real hero/heroines to me are the camera crews who spend months and as it turns out sometimes years to get the film they want. I'll be glued to this and then will wait impatiently for the next one as always with an Attenborough series.

Pretty sure all Dave does these days is narrate them. Not surprising, he must be over 70, but I think the admiration should be directed at the camera crews. Of course we've all got HD these days so the nature is much more visually spectacular to look at as well.

It is amazing. Agree about the camera work. I could not work out how they apparently got so close to the pair of cheetahs catching and killing their prey.

David Attenborough is over 70; he is 88.

I can't imagine there will be any sort of replacement when he is gone. He was for so long really the only BBC wildlife broadcaster but now there are a whole handful, though none that I prefer to him.

It's been a real nice series. He's been the rounds at some Zoos for something coming out next year.

If its him narrating a nature programme I am always pretty sure its going to be a good one. Whilst BIll Oddie comes over as fairly obnoxious when in company on the box, I do think he's a pretty good narrater.

And he got into it because the guy supposed to present the original programme was ill.
A happy accident.
It's his passion for it that separates him.
