Just a quick question on the above, mum brought an lg 42ls575t a she wants iplayer just on her TV. Problem is the app isn't working, does anyone else have any experience? Had to return a Samsung this morning for the same issue. Thanks in advance.

Does it come with Iplayer loaded and is the TV connected to the internet?

The Samsung didn't but was meant to.

Lg yes it is there, just don't work, goes from between error 404 page not found to coming soon. Yes the TV is connected fine, all other apps work fine, it has been a frustrating day to say the least.

You need a good broadband speed for it to work well.

Internet speed not a issue, works fine on computers in house and on my phone, just can't get the app on the TV to work, having just done some more digging on the net and there seems to be an issue with talk talk (who mum isn't with) but it looks like the BBC may have pulled the iplayer never of this, what a pain in the arse. Still looking to see if any lg owners have it working and if so what model TV they have.

Working fine on my Sony, with Zen in case it makes a difference.

Just to update, took the lg back and got a Pan asonic instead.
