Ya!

I'm gonna make my own lightbox :o

If your screen doesn't come on......how are you going to make it a lightbox?

I'm Jay.

I'm interested in portrait/fashion/glamour photography so i'm spending lots of money on equipment to set up my own studio :D So i'm on the look out for models, make up artists and all sorts to photograph and collab with!!

Here's my tip to you Salma, as i've told you many times! Just buy the Macro lens already!!

Um i'm sorry, i don't mean to sound rude but what does a dead laptop screen have to do with a lightbox? Lightboxes are related to photography :/

YOu didn't need to post here, i already know everything  I kid.

I don't think i want a macro anymore, just a decent lens that'll shoot amazing bokeh <3
I think she means Light Tent, not Light Box.

A lightbox is used to show negatives and slides to people.

See this thread for a discussion about it...

It's called a lightbox since it'll be in a cardborad box

Sorry, talking about laptops and lightboxes at the same time made me think you'd seen that thread here yesterday where somebody has put a blank white image on his laptop desktop to use the screen as a lightbox

Well... All i have to say is that i wish i lived in Cornwall. You lucky :)

been to college this evening, bloomin knackered when i got home - anyone else doing any part time study?

i've never seen a decent photography course - they're all aimed at beginners that i've seen

I'm unsure, i thought i'd leave it for a while because i think there are so many online tutorials.

you can learn a lot from many of the good books available - saying that i do prefer tuition

not photography no - but what practical tuition is the way i prefer to learn.

Yeah i can understand that, sort of like school... wow it's been ages since i had any practical lessons :/

that's why i kind of like the methods of the microsoft training i'm doing

yeah, i can see a need a good slid job to get my funds to get me started :D

Not much actually, I'd love to get out and about and do some landscape, but I've too much on my plate here. I've got a shed load of editing to do, got to sort some stuff for ebay, and I need to get ready for tomorrow, when I'm meeting my model for next weekend for a chat :)
