Traditionally we would call someone who leaves and then makes a fanfare return 'Attention Whore'

I wouldnt worry about ashers not liking you, there is a long long way to go before you reach the number of people that dont like you that ashers has :nuts:

I'm really confused about my old laptop i'm selling, people ask some confusing questions man.
 
I'm selling it as a spares and repairs and some guy messaged me saying:

'Hi I have an Acer Aspire 5100 LXAXxxxxx The Keyboard and Mouse + Usb have stopped working. is there any motherboard problems that you know of on your acer? If not I am very interested. and would like to buy this as The laptop belongs to a county council school and do not have a lot of money do you think this should cure the problem? thanks.'

I don't know anything about the motherboard, i thought since my laptop screen doesn't come on, it's hardware related.
 
ok, i think he's just making sure that the laptop you are selling doesn't have similar problem to the one on his before he buys it.
 
sounds pretty straightforward - if there is no motherboard problems he plans to use the motherboard to replace his which has problems, just tell him it has no problems if it doesn't and he'll buy it.

I don't know what a motherboard is and how do i find out? I don't really know any teach guys and i'm not paying to find out lol.
