Before you ask, no I don't ever intend to grow up :p

I'm amazed at how many of you have more than one screen. Just curious, but why is that ?

A whole host of reasons here...
2x24" Dells give me 3840x1200 which is nice and large.

Xbox 360 on 1, OSX on the other.
Eve-Online(Crossover) on 1, OSX on the other.
Aperture Controls, thumbnails and metadata on 1, Aperture Full Screen Preview on the other.
Email, WinXP(parallels), MSN on 1, 4 or 5 Firefox tabs displaying various forums on the other.

As for my 3rd Display, which is my 24" iMac, I use that for Multimedia playback, whilst, I can keep working/playing on my main screens.

That looks exspensive, may I ask who is featured on the poster up on the left hand side above your comp' monitor? :naughty:

I must get a bigger chair....

Ladybird, I'd be careful about leaving evidence of your coke habit on your desk ;) :D :p

Paul .... I think the Coke habit may be worse than everyone first thought .....

 I've been sussed! :exit:

I think everyone knows that isn't really my desk, I would never have chosen those curtains! just not flowery enough!!! :p

I used to own this house - I was single. The wife came along and stopped me smoking in it. The first sprog moved me out of my study, the second one out of the back room and now I'm a refugee in the corner of the living room.

Just biding my time;)

I really need to get my TV mounted above my desk, it would free up a lot of desk space :p

I feel for you pobs, I really do. My wife tried to do the same. Luckily I stopped smoking, so that wasn't a problem, but I too lost my spare room to a child :( and I ended up a refugee in the corner of my own bedroom.

Since we moved though, I've let my wife have the bedroom back, and I've upgraded to the living room.....mwahaha

Hehe, me thinks that many here have sought out the pledge furniture polish, a duster and also honed their tidy-up skills prior to taking pics and posting their workstation shots here... :):)

Great thread though... keep 'em coming.

I lost mine as well - so I built an office at the end of the garden and its MINE....ALL MINE!!! Ain't nobody gonna take it from me :bat:

I can't stand having a messy desk - if it gets messy (which it does) I have to stop work and tidy everything up. My office and desk are my sanctuary, it's the one place thats mine and mine alone.

I do agree with this, though in my case I have so much gear both on and around my workstation, that depending on what I am doing at the time, it's difficult for it not to become cluttered. I do try to keep things organised as much as possible though.

Here's my entire main work area, sorry about the sun!!!:

Pete, I must admit, that keyboard makes me a little bit wet...

I want a PC version dammit!

Some schweet set-ups going on here. Must update my early-90's decor :embarrassed: :whistling:

I've just moved house, you should see what i have had to put up with!!! At least you chose yours!

Well, as I can't be bothered to retake my uni room and have this pano that I took (to show my mum :D) to hand, I'll post that instead :)

Woodsy, that house doesn't look structurally safe ;)

i'm very jealous of you guys, I have been kicked out of every room in the house and am now considering moving into the loft but thats gonna be expensive to make it safe/habitable. But if it means it will cuddly toy and flower free it could be worth it :D

Long way to go to make a brew though, unless you take supplies up there with you ;)

Its a good point although to be honest if I move all the junk up there I have enough room for an office and could have my own fridge with Beer in it :D

I like the sound of this, now just to find the money

Thats a nice radio active glow you have going on there.

woodsy...........your going to get a bad back in that bed

I haven't tested it, but I can't see why not. All my other Apple keyboards have worked on my PC. They're all standard USB keyboards. Theres some OSX hotkeys that I can't see working, but aside from that it should work.

So, you like to play?

Updated desktop with new keyboard n such.
I sure do Pete... though not very well I'm afraid - all self taught on keys. Brass... now that's a different matter...:)

Nice apple keyboard I might add sir.
