I see ruth's been watching 'nine and a half weeks' again ;)

Well, I googled it just to make you happy, and to be honest. ..judging by the blurb on IMDB, if that was the kind if film you were soiling tissues to in 1986 Pete, it explains a lot

TBH Ruth I just breathed a sigh of relief when I read his posts in this thread ;)

Will Lynton still be able to go on the annual TP Norfolk Broads day out?! Lot of sitting down and being merry/p***ed from what I'm told!

I had heard of the film but nothing more, so like you I hit Google too.....................
Ok well that was a little weird :D

In most cases, if the woman has suggested it they plan on kicking you out and screwing the rest of your life up.Just saying :D

Had the op about 20 years ago. One side was fine, but the other needed extra anaesthetic, but was otherwise relatively OK. A little odd when they cauterised the vas (tube) to smell yourself frying.

Went to see Dr Balakhov a few years ago and can only add to the quotes below as to MY experience - YMMV!

Only problem is the local anesthetic, which hurt like hell when they injected.

The only problem I had was nicking the carrier bag when shaving prior to surgery. The local stung slightly for a second or 2 rather than hurting like hell.

A little prick  when they inject the local, 10 mins and it was all over. I had mine done by laser, the couple of things that got me were the smell of burning and the light pulling feeling when they pull the tube out to zap it.

I had mine done on the Friday and was back at work Monday.

Pain wise it was more of a light ache for a few days but nothing really bad.

No longer "the snip", now "the sizzle"!
No after effects after a couple of days.

Obviously not got any advice for you Lynton, but please, please, for the sake of the whole forum . . . this is one thread where "pictures or it didn't happen" does NOT apply

Hang on, I'll just get my selfie stick!!!

Yeah!! Trying to jerk off into the stupid little phial they provide is a real joke. :wideyed:

My missus collapsed over the back of a chair with laughter.

Pyrex measuring jug then just tip the required quantity into the phial. The plus side is that not only are you allowed a shandy, you HAVE to have a few!!!

Why is it when you turn up that morning, the nurses all look like models and your 'chap' knows what's heading his way and makes out he's been swimming in -5* of water.

Frozen peas are good for swelling:sneaky::nailbiting:

The nurse who helped during mine is actually the wife of a member on here (who I have met [the member, not his wife!!!] several times before and since!)

Just after reading this whole thread, still undecided and a little nauseous:(
We had our second and final child a month ago and this has been "suggested" to me by the mrs.

I had some serious bruising, I think the Dr thought I was a tax inspector :(

(I told him I was a civil servant, with no more detail)

But to end any further chances of kids, or messing with any other method, I'd still do it again.

Nothing to it, had it done years ago after the birth of "Son of Satan"

I had it done some years back. Felt nothing at all. Op was on Thursday afternoon; on the Saturday I came second in a 28 mile mountain race.

Hardest part was producing samples for post op testing. Get in a good supply of magazines!
