Did the paint fly around the inside of the car after braking too hard to make him drive on the wrong side of the road and crash, or did he drive on the wrong side of the road and crash to make the paint fly around the inside of the car?

Looking at that paint tub, it seems to be a 2 gallon one - or 9/10 litres. That's a LOT of mass to have flying round in a vehicle should the worst happen and could do people a load of damage if it hit them. A nice hot bath or shower can get even heavy spillage off skin and hair - injuries are harder to deal with.
