Just makes me hope that the angler required the services of a proctologist to eventually remove his keep net from about his person.

Well maybe I'm being overly cynical and I know it's not unusual for a cry of fake over videos like these but surely it's a setup?

Why is it being filmed - OK, there could be plausible reasons for that. But no dialogue between the angler and the cyclist and why would the cyclist run down the bank having seen his bike already go in the splosh rather than just lumping (or at least remonstrating with) the angler?

Harry Hill and his £250 is a strong draw for a couple of mates and a smartphone.

It would be unusual for someone to bother with the whole MAMIL outfit for such a crappy looking bike too. Fake it is (and not even funny).
 
I also call fake...for one I've not seen a wicker creel in use in about 15 years and secondly that rod bag look a little too short to be a rod bag...

No expert on bikes so those above that say that looks suspect too I have to take there word for it...

As an external observer, did I laugh, yeah I did.. I'm also sure many cyclist will chuckle too..

I'd have gone further and chucked the biker in as well. Probably a mute point though as it does seem staged.

im a fair weather cyclist myself but i seriously give up defending them.

Not sure a dunking in fresh water would damage a bike and certainly wouldn't destroy it.
