Leonid Meteor Showers This Weekend

I managed to see a few around 9pm - amazing.

Well just in after 5 hours freezing my arse off, actually quite normal for me it's my type of shooting but have to say thoroughly feed up I've got a couple of what will make rather nice star trails, but not seen a single meteor :bang: :annoyed: also had very bad lens fog issues on one of the two cameras which is odd since both were within 18 inches of each other

Glad it wasn't just me who didn't see any then! Aren't they due to peak again on Tuesday evening? I don't think it's forecast to be clear here though.

I'm not sure on close inspection though I did get a single very faint one, will process it later I think I'll keep it as a star trail :)

Seen a few last night, didn't realise there was a shower on. Lovely clear skies & Jupiter shining brightly and high in the sky.

Work got in the way, as usual. Caught them last year, think I got a shot or two with meteors but they look naff to me.

Anyone got any pictures they wish to upload?

I got this photo if you look at the top of the little Beacon on this hill you can see the only meteor that I captured as it smashes into the roof of the beacon ;) :naughty:

Looks great to me, was out at the pub until gone 3 this morning so totally forgot about this (and wasn't in any fit state when I got in!)

Tonight its cloudy so no chance.....

These are from last year and, frankly, I was/am naff at nighttime sky shots, but hey ho.

My best shot from last night. I am still relatively new to star photography, so any constructive comments welcome :)

Saw one coming home from a job last night after midnight, but wasn't aware it was part of a shower.

Still going on tonight?
