It isn't the body on the list that I would think about - it is that 14mm zoom.
It is a cracking lens, but VERY heavy, and not well balanced either. All the weight is in the front, even on the 3 it is not as easy to handle. I tried one and then stuck with the old 17-35 that it would have replaced.
The 17-35 may not be as sharp, but I have had clients use exhibition prints to 4m from it, so it can't be that bad! The difference between the two is only at the very wide end - how often would you use those few extra degrees? In PJ, maybe it is important squashed in a rat pack scrum, but if you are shooting on your own, could you step back one pace? You have just gained those couple of degrees of coverage, but with less distortion. - Oh, and it is MUCH lighter too, both on the front of the body and on your wallet, AND it has a 77mm filter thread!
