Lenses for hire are once again offering a 50% discount for all hires booked during February. Discount automatically applied at checkout.

I think advanced booking terms have changed since last year as you can now only book a max 90 days in advance and then only for hires of 7 days or more. For hires of less than that you can only book a max of 3 weeks in advance.
 
Yes indeed. I don't think the forum rules allowed me to advertise the sale *here*, but now somebody else has done so, I'm able to respond....

Our advance booking policy has changed since last year. Historically we've allowed bookings up to 6 months in advance for hires of 7 days or longer. However, you'll appreciate that the point of a sale is to try to drum up a bit of extra business during what would otherwise be a quiet period, and we discovered last year that the 6-month booking horizon was allowing people to book into our absolute peak periods (eg Silverstone F1 Grand Prix, RIAT air show, etc) at half price. That didn't seem right, so we've restricted the booking horizon for the duration of the sale.

Ordinarily only 0.7% of our customers book more than 90 days ahead of their hire. During the February sale last year 11% did so. We make most of our money in the three months from June to August, and unfortunately we just can't afford to be giving stuff away at half price during those months.

Makes perfect sense Stewart. I mentioned it as a heads up for others rather than a criticism - was amazed that I could book so far ahead last year but it did convince me to make my first hire with you.
 
@StewartR Am I right in thinking you're not currently doing the 1.4x Fuji tc to go with the 50-140mm lens? That's the combo I would have liked to try out.
