Lens wraps

I’ve just bought a hiking backpack for my camera gear and have a 100-400mm lens + tripod mount that I’d like to protect and was wondering how effective the Domke (or any other make) wraps are. Does anyone have any experience of them?

Praetego wraps have double the padding compared to Domke.
Camera wraps are the best alternative when you want to travel light. Wrap your camera and lens and it will be safe to carry in any bag.
Versatile, wraps in any shape. Use it for your camera or lens, fold it and use it as a divider, fold and use it as a knee pad....wash and use again.
