So I've soon realised like a few of my other hobbies, photography is a drain on my resources and I have proposed a list of lenses. Hardly a list but here goes, I currently have a kit lens which is the 18-70mm for my D80.

But I am looking to purchase a macro lens from the US when my mother goes for my step-dads 40th bday and the end of this month, I've been looking at the Nikon Nikkor 105mm & the Sigma 105mm.

Also, I want to photograph motocross & mountain-biking while I am riding, what lenses do people suggest for these?

Any help much appreciated

Have a look for Dod on the forum, from what I remember he does a lot of Motocross stuff with a 70-200
