Hi,

Has anybody got any recommendations for (preferably padded) lens pouches?

I've seen a couple online but I'm a little unsure as to their quality. They will be used with a Tokina 11-16mm, Tamron 17-50mm and Canon 70-200mm if that limits helps.

Cheers

What do you want to do with them? (Apart from put your lenses in them)

If it's long term storage, out of a regular camera bag then the Lowepro ones get my vote. I have a few, and they're well made, well protected and will clip on to belts/harnesses/bags etc.

If it's just a little extra protection while in your bag then I have no idea, aside from the ones that come with lenses. (Well, Nikon lenses anyway.)

Option B - I often use a standard rucksack when I'm out and and I'd like a little more protection than that offers. The Canon has its own pouch, but it's not padded so I only use it for storage really.

Ah ok, makes sense. The lowepro ones are pretty large - but if you want padding that's a good thing, right?

They come up in the classifieds here every now and then (it's where I got mine) and can be had relatively cheaply online as well if you want new ones or don't want to wait. Amazon seems to be a good place to find them, but as always - check who you're actually buying from.

Maybe get one and see what you think - if you don't like it I would guess you could move it on without losing too much.
