Yes I was recommended one earlier this year because when I went on holiday I had write a bit of sand on my camera/lens, but didn't know what to clean it off with as I knew it would easily scratch.
A Giottos rocket blower paired with an official Lenspen did the job perfectly with no scratches whatsoever - I have used them both a lot ever since to maintain my sensor and lenses being dust-free.
Well worth the investment.

WARNING
DO NOT use the small round felt pad when you receive it, try it out on the vack of your hand, there have been reports and I can confirm this as I had one, that some faulty ones have left a thick felt black pen residue behind.
I never use anything on my lenses until I fully check it, I touched it to my hand and it was so bad, on a plastic bottle I had to wash it with washing up liquid TWICE.
I've just watched the video on Amazon and it says that this is normal. The pad contains a carbon compound that will come off on your hand because it's not completely smooth, unlike a lens, or something like that. I might have to try mine out later! Never had a problem getting my lenses clean with it though.
