Jeez, two pages of this is why it is being moved to OOF.
By the way, did you hear about the dyslexic devil worshipper?
He thought he was Santa.
Boom! Boom!
I love dyslexic jokes

Why are people still saying lens? Why add the extra 'e'? I read it as 'len-sse' in my head![]()

My pet hate. Its even worse on car forums, we seem to have alot of idiots on there.
Hai I wonder what lens is good for motorsport for 50p...![]()
Totally agree with this comment 2blue4u.I can't see what this thread has to do with dyslexics. The issue is non-dyslexics spelling lens incorrectly. No need to get your nickres in a wist.

Sometimes a missing comma can completely alter the meaning of a sentence. Take "What's up, Agatha?" which is an enquiry of Agatha as to what the problem is. Now remove the comma to leave "What's up Agatha?" which is a rather different question!
Everyone makes typos - I make loads (I blame it on fingers that overlap keys so tend to add extra letters) but try to correct them as I go along.
Spellchecking is OK up to a point but doesn't usually pick up their/they're/there, which/witch and the like.
It's quite noticeable that the posts in this thread from dyslexics are spelled correctly - if they can get things right, shouldn't non-dyslexics be able to?

I don't care and you're not sorry otherwise you wouldn't do it
My Brother in law is dyslexic, luckily, he doesnt own a camera or lenses.
He did go out to buy one once but ended up joining a real ale drinking society.
He says its more fun anyways.

Here's another annoyed dyslexic who's fed up of people using dyslexia as an excuse. I've worked very hard in the past to get to grips with my dyslexia and still do every day. People with dyslexia can spell correctly it's just more difficult than it is for others and requires effort (perhaps more for some than others).

(yes I know that's wrong but I'm half French so it's right in French).
Its all the same damn thing, as long as the R U OK M8 plant pots don't get any more of a foothold than they already have, I don't give a b****r..![]()
Well in this thread, I've no idea who's dyslexic, who's lazy, who's thick or who's deliberately making typos....

So, the burning question Kel is,
are you half right or half wrong ![]()
whatever I am, I'm sure I'll have spelt it wrong but never fear, I'm sure someone will be along to correct my idiotness and stupidity

When I see the American phrase "I could care less" written by an English person, I will know there is no hope left.
Rant over (for now!).
Steve.
That one drives me nuts! At least 'my bad' is deliberately incorrect, but when people say 'I could care less' it makes you wonder if they have ever actually considered how little sense it makes. It is so.....American......way i see it is this:
Im dyslexia, its never held me back, if you have an issue with my spelling tough titty cos its not gonna get any better![]()

I say this because I have a sneaky suspicion that my partner is effected by it in some form or another.)
