Hi all

Being new to the world of interchangeable lenses I am after some advice on looking into purchasing a new lens.

I took the camera out on my fist outing yesterday. Throughly enjoyed it and just finished with some of the photos via Adobe LR. I am very happy with my first results.

However I came across a few practical issues I would like to work towards over coming asap if possible. While out I had my two lenses with me one being the stock 20mm to 50mm and the 50mm to 200mm OIS. Firstly when out on family trips I can see the need to change between lenses due to distance required of lack of going to be a pain when trying to keep up with the wife and kids. Thus I would like to see if it is possible to say for instance find a lens that could cover close range photography to long distance/ telescopic photography.

The other was picture quality is a dramatic difference i noticed between the two lenses with the 50 to 200mm OIS being far superior to the stock lenses. Is this just me, the camera or actually the lens quality?

I know I may being a little different to DSLR standard and types using a CSC but does this mean I have to stick with the manufacturers lenses, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Where would I start to look for lenses and is there particular types I should be looking at?

Thank you very much. Have you used one and are they worth it.

For that price I'd stick with swapping lenses! A kit soon upgrade to OIS is much more affordable. It is a shame the nx kit has never really caught on as it is very nice but the lack of buy in from sigma and tamron would put me off!

Or what about using a lens adaptor do they work effectively or do you lose quality.

Thanks
