And from what I can work out that points south, so does not give a view over the city.
Starting to look like an expensive waste of time to me.
Why couldn't they of designed it to be more friendly. Top of the rock in NYC has an upper area with no obstruction, the lower sections have big gaps between the glass that are big enough to get a 24-105 through. Empire state has no glass at all, it has ironwork with plenty of gaps you can shoot through.
