Can anyone recommend good lens camouflage for the Canon 300mm f4 L.

Many thanks

They seem to have every lens covered except for the 300mm f4 L!

Phone him up, give him the measurements and he`ll make one for you.

He used to give discounts for "template" lens users. Have not spoke to him for a while so things may have changed.

His neoprene covers are a damned sight thicker and better than some other, more expensive brands.

No affiliation, but his neoprene covers are very good.

Not being a scrimper...well yes alright then but it works for me (!), I use a MOD (i.e. high quality) scrim scarf with so-called sniper tape set-up on my 300mm f/2.8; the tape sticks to itself and nothing else, and you can re-adjust so that it can all drape over your hands and therefore totally break up the outline of the lens. After all a camouflaged lens is only as good as an apparent human holding it! That'll set you back about £12 all told through canny use of a certain online auction site!

The problem with the 300mm (and 400mm) is the built-in sliding lens hood, great for convenience, but not for camo covers.

Best bet is one like Neil mentions which only covers the lens hood. They do have sets available for the 300 and 400 but not sure how well the body part fits when retracting the hood.

Dropped them a mail and David told me that they are currently updating their website, but if needing one to make the order for the 400mm and drop them a mail to confirm that the required version is for the 300. Priced @ £35 + pp.

Might just give it a go!

Thanks everyone, a couple of good leads.

SLRUser - Im had notieced this and am not sure how it would work. I always pull the hood out, so woulod need to work around this somehow.
