Guys I'm moving toward weddings with another photographer and as I'm using primes right now I'd rather have them at hand instead of in my bag and wondered if someone could recommend me a belt or holster type thing that could hold two or three lenses. My lenses are not huge as it's fuji I'm using.

Regards

Scott

What about the peak design lens holder on the capture clip?

Nvm, they don’t do Fuji ones

Put a firm bottom into a shoulder bag big enough for all lenses standing up side by side. Place them in a useful order and rotated all into the same orientation. Glue their rear lens covers onto the firm bottom. Now all you have to do is to take off existing lens, screw it onto its lens cap in the bag, unscrew the new lens.

ThinkTank probably has the best belt system, also Lowepro.

I sometimes use the older LowePro belts and pouches - very good and can carry quite a load in comfort.

I hate the idea of a belt system, I carry a bag for lenses and flash, there’s no need to think about carrying a bag big enough to carry the bodies w lenses attached that you’ll be wearing. I consider it a lens changer bag, it holds 3-4 lenses, 2 flashes and all my spare batteries.

When I get to the car, the 2 cameras with lenses go in a hard case.

Horses for courses I think, particularly for 'carrying solutions' it seems, but belt systems can be really good and are very versatile. You can tailor them to specific outfits, for lenses, bodies, flash, lens changing etc, slide them around easily and so on. A great opportunity to try for real is coming up at The Photography Show, 17-20 March at the NEC.

ThinkTank have a great range with three belt options plus a shoulder harness, a big selection of semi-soft attachments plus the Skin range that folds flat to your body when not in use. Not forgetting my favourite which is the Speed range of shoulder-cum-belt bags that also have attachment fittings for a couple of belt pouches https://www.thinktankphoto.com/pages/belt-systems

Definitely too big for my fuji lenses. How much are you after? I'm still trying to decide whether this is the right call to make.

I don't get along well with the belt/harness systems... I have too much gut or not enough butt (or both), so the belt requires a harness. That immediately limits the locations where stuff can be mounted/rotated on the belt. And I don't like messing around with individual pouches/zippers/draw strings/rain shields/etc/etc. For me, one bag with enough slots (one always open) and the slots are rigid/large enough to easily drop in/remove any lens in use. And I work pretty much the same as Phil does, using the camera bag as a lens changer and accessories carrier. Although the "open slot" in my bag can typically hold the lens with camera attached, useful for when using 2 bodies. I also usually work w/o camera straps or lens caps for this kind of stuff, and the top of the bag will be open (unless there's a particular reason not to).

I personally use a Think Tank Speed Racer V1 which is a belt/shoulder bag... it's kind of a crossover between the traditional shoulder bag and the belt/harness system. For a compact system they have the Speed Demon. The current V2 models have a lighter weight belt system to make them more "convertible."

I just remembered The boda bag was meant to be for this sort of thing, I don’t know if they still make them, also I’ve seen a shootsac, it’s a neoprene bag that you could fit lenses and flashes in, failing that you can get that moneymaker of similar and attach a bag to one side or lens holster but that would probably be expensive to do.

I'd let it go for £20.00 inc postage. It's in my justsittingtheredoingnowt pile. :)
Graham i'll have a wee look tonight and make sure there's nothing i would be better with and let you know tomorrow whether i'll take this.

That belt that Graham is selling is the wider (better) version of the one I have and mine is quite comfy with a 100-400 + 70-200 F2.8, 24-70 F2.8, 16-35 F4 and pro body (all Canon) with a shoulder star attached. Total gear weight is getting towards 7 kilos. This belt is better than mine - grab it quick:)
