Lens Adaptor help needed

Hi

I've been googling for a good hour now and no nearer knowing what I need to buy.

I have a Panasonic DMC-L1 it comes with a 14-55 Leica lens which from what I understand is 4/3 size?.

Now my dads just given me a Minata Sigma Zoom 28-85mm and a Vivitar Macros Focusing Zoom 75-205 lens. Both have the x2 adaptor.
Now am I right in saying that these lens are K mount fitment?.

I would like to buy or at the very least find out more information to see if I can buy an adaptor to makes these lens fir my DMC-L1.

I fully understand that auto focus will not work but I very very rarely use that anyhow. I'm on a very tight budget so if I can spend a small amount on a adaptor and have two zoom lens to play with then I will be very happy.

try eBay, there are several sellers such as Big-IS and Weakpotoman based in Hong Kong/China which manufacture adapter rings, some chipped to give AF confirmation.

I use a Canon 500 & 550d, and have several older lenses, with mounts such as M42screw, Canon FD, Pentax K and PB, and have never had any problem in obtaining adapters for these lens mounts to Canon EOS

I cant give you a 100% answer, but it looks very much like a Minolta mount. Have a squint yourself here http://rick_oleson.tripod.com/index-99.html

If so, it is possible to get a converter from a variety of places; there's a selection on ebay; THIS is one of many.

I'm sure you will get some more assistance over at one of the 4/3s forums such as http://fourthirds-user.com/forum/

I wouldn't spend too much on the adaptor though, as I suspect you may be disappointed by the results compared to your rather superb 14-50mm Panasonic/Leica

Minolta lenses fit Minolta camreas and Pentax K lenses fit Pentax cameras. They are definitely not the same. The Vivitar will produce decent results, but not sure about the Sigma. Early Sigmas were not particularly impressive, in the main.

Well I always try and be polite myself, so I suggest you may be mistaken

The K mount is Pentax, though used on some other makes too, whereas the Minolta MC/MD was only used on Minoltas as far as I know.
I could be talking gibberish of course as I use Olympus kit myself.

The term "Register" or "Flange Focal Distance" is the distance between the mount and the film/sensor plane.
