I have to take prom pics so which option. would be best?

This is for anyone who has a lencarta I am after one light, and a softbox maybe,a brollie.
My question is do I need A reflector if I get a head and brollie, but do I need a reflector if I buy a soft box.

I have a flash that I can use as a hair/Kick light.

Garry you may be able to help here, I am only down bottom of 606.

Of course you dont need one ,
but for the few quid they cost why wouldn't you get one.
 
A softbox is fitted in place of a reflector so no, you don't need one if you only use the head with a softbox.
But the standard reflector only costs £9.99 and greatly increases the versatility of any flash head.

The SmartFlash is out of stock at the moment.
 
Do you know when they are back instock garry?
I am on a budget and will build so 10 pounds will pay for a trigger?

Hi Garry I would like to do that but the prom is Friday next, I will explain if I get chance to come see.
Do you know when the lights will be in, going to get one with reflector and shoot through.
Tight budget.
 
Sorry, I don't have a delivery date yet but we won't have any more for a while.
It's possible though that if you buy one I could let you have a used loan unit until they come back into stock - can't be sure about that until Wednesday though.
