I bought a safari classic from the classifeds a few months back and haven't had a chance to use it yet , so following the instructions I have gone to charge it up as instructed at a 3 month interval .
I have read that the red led is for charging
Green for charged , but mine is blinking red / green ?
Nowhere in the instructions does it decribe this ?
Anyone know what this means ?
I really hope that it doesn't mean that the battery is on it's way out .

It sounds very much like a dead battery - but I have a Lazarus widget thingy whatsit that often kicks life back into them.

Just my luck to be a dead battery , although it is still showing full charge on the generator .
It's very kind of you to have a look at it Garry I'll get it sent off to you .
I think I'll still order another one though as I have a shoot lined up next Sunday .

Hi Garry,

I also have the same problem. The led on the charger flashes green, red, red, red, red, green....... and so on. After some time in just goes off all together and the battery isn't charged.

Hi Garry,

I sent my battery to you back in November as discussed regarding recovery. I have messaged your email address a couple of times but haven't got a reply. Can you get back to me please.
