I see these threads and think what the hey, but when you experience it yourself you understand why people post up.
Garry has been very patient with me whilst I scratched my head over what products to buy and after a few e-mail exchanges finally I made the plunge and ordered a three head elitepro set with stands, some light modifiers, and bags to keep it in. Garry phoned me the morning after I placed the order (late night order) to discuss options due to a few stock problems and we agreed on a set of kit which met my requirements and hey presto by 11am the next day it's all here.
After work unboxed it like a 5 year old at christmas and tested it all out and dead chuffed with it all. Shame I'm too knackered to set up for a self portrait!
Kit seems good quality and robust so would make Lencarta a recommendation to anyone.
I've been strobist so far using speedlites and it will be a great experience to not have to charge up multiple sets of AA's before every shoot, not have to worry about power limitations and not have concerns about recharge rates as batteries lose charge.
I'll post up pics as I go along.
