Lencarta Background Support System

I just bought the vinyl and support system from Bessel and it seems ok, only rolled the vinyl out once so far. The pole is in 3 sections so you can just use 2 if you dont need a 3 metre wide background.
The tripods are good quality, sturdy, spring loaded and extend to roughly 7ft.

Also a little bit cheaper than the Lencarta.

def cheaper i wanted a branded one rather than a cheap chinesse one

but might have a look at there's from bessel , let me know once you have sorted it out and let me know overall thoughts and test shots would be good lol

Hi guys,

I have found the Calumet background frame to be solid and nicely made. Also they have quite good painted backgrounds ( although a whiter sheet work wonders!)I find the simpler the better!

I've got it, review is in my signature. Was using it last week with no problems. :)

My mate just sent me this pano, just to give you an idea of height.

Where the creases are coming from the top corners are just because the vinyl was at the end of the roll and started coming off the tape. Its fine when its rolled back half a turn, we just had no clamps in the studio lol

I brought the 3m bessel one mainly *** they 2 mile away handy. the stands are up to the job, ok not up to bowens but fine for just holding the backdrop. I was concered when I was looking because he is a Fee bay trader but genuine man. the vinyl is not cheap thin rubbish. He told me its as good as any its cheap *** he buys a mlie at a time then cuts to his own lenghts.

I bought the 3m Lencarta one and was reasonably impressed with the build quality. It's certainly not up to Manfrotto standards of quality and finish, but it's very sturdy, adjustable and air-cushioned. As long as it's not mistreated, it should last.

I also bought the 3x6m muslin backdrops but regret that now as they are simply too big and unwieldy. Nor do I relish the idea of ironing a 3x6 piece of fabric. Vinyl or paper next time I think.

no issues from the system from me. works nicely when needed

the backgrounds are bloody huge though lol

once they are "hung" the creases tend to drop out which is nice considering the size bag it goes into
