It was a pretty good unit, the recharging beep was annoyingly loud but apart from that it was fine in every way, with pretty consistent colour and flash energy, reasonably fast recycling and 400Ws of power.
Just be aware that, as with all ringflashes, the flash duration is pretty long. I don't know whether there are any spare batteries and ringflash available for it still, it was sold a few years ago on Ebay.
Whether it's a good buy or not will depend on what you pay for it of course, from memory they sold for a little under £400 new.
