My dad had something similar, he's 74, has a blue disabled badge, he parked in the disabled bay of a supermarket and spent a minute chatting to the parking attendant,she saw him walking slowly with a stick then stop to catch his breath before he got to the shop.

when he came out 10 minutes later she'd put a ticket on his car because he forgot to put the blue badge in the window.

he appealed and didn't have to pay it but it was stress he didn't need :razz: the stupid thing is it's a free car park, if he'd parked anywhere else he wouldn't have received a ticket

I agree with the others. I'm sure it was on Watchdog that private companies cannot enforce this although they word the letter like they can. Only local councils / police can issue parking fines (from what I remember).

I think i saw this, try contacting Watchdog! They wont like that! :D
 
glad you got it sorted :) i think its shocking that after 3 hours they charge you to park there TBH
