Leftcurl's Oktoberfest Challenge 50mm f/1.8

Empty desk = empty head :) That was my excuse for not being able to see any of the surface of it...
 
to be fair, it's not at it's worst... the post hadn't arrived at that point, so there was worse to come :gag:
 
I'm sorry I have somehow missed your thread until now, Leigh.

Your showroom looks very interesting and I love the stripy chair. I don't think I could live with it in my house but love the photo :thumbs:

What is wrong with the desk? I recently tidied mine and found telephone bills from 1986 :bonk:

Love the SP but I think you should have cloned out the mirror writing on the strap.

i forgive you Jenny.. but i still need you to drop and give me 10! :D

Thought about the reverse print on the strap and thought i'd leave it so it proves it was taken in the mirror and not someone else taking my pic :shrug:

i need to get a wriggle on and get some more shots taken today to hit my target of 5 in the week though :bonk:

just went and checked the shelf... and guess what? It bows slightly in the middle. :gag:

thanks boys.. took a bit of jiggery pokery to get in a kneeling position so i was framed in the shower head. God knows what a customer would have thought if they came in at that moment :bonk:

The log burner is very warming (can you do your toast on it?), and the focus on the roses and dof are great. Doesn`t a desk look tidy when out of focus :lol:

I think i've taken a shot of those flowers virtually every day in October and every one has been pants... just have to keep trying different things i guess. :D
 
Love that log burner shot Leigh...makesme feel all warm & cosy just looking at it :clap:

I like the sc on the roses...the black bit sort of bugs me though...the rest of the background is so serene & calming
 
few minutes to spare this morning.. so managed to knock a quick one out. It looks on the wonk to me now, but i used the straighten tool along the grout line :bonk:

SCHOOLBOY ERROR! What a muppet... i've uploaded the original raw file to flickr by mistake and deleted the pp'd jpeg. THAT'S why it looks on the wonk!
