Hi all,

I missed the last one! :bonk: so if anyone is up for it I work in Leeds almost 7 days a week - I could probably wangle free reign of the Corn Exchange too if anyone's interested... and some tea and biscuits! Then we could go for a walkabout in the early evening sun? It would have to be on a Thursday, and at 5:30? How's this coming Thursday the 8th?

Who's in?

Let me know what you think!

I'm well up for it :)

Blimey that was quick!

Just refreshed the forum as you posted it...

Honest...

Can't do myself but Im really keen to do a Leeds day soon myself.

If there's enough notice I might come along if I can get a cheap train ticket.

It's on Thursday at 5.30pm, so you'd best book one now :p

Yeah, that might not be quite enough notice

We can make it next thursday - should I start a poll? :)

Not this time Nick, but I'm always up for photo meets around the country if there's enough notice.

Hope you guys enjoy Leeds...I did a while back with Mr Hooleygan :D, shame i'm not there to join the rest of you on this occasion

When in the Uk, I have limited time/resources for travelling too far but if there is any interest in meeting up around the Leeds/Wakefield/Dewsbury areas then I would be more than pleased to tag along.

Just for info, I'm back there in Oct ( available days sun 20th - fri 25th) in case anybody wishes to pencil a meet up in their diary.

Sorry Nick ...didn't intend on hyjacking your thread!

haha no problem Asha! Looks like it's only 3 of us for tomorrow? Do we want to postpone it 'till next week to see if anyone else can come?

Still on for 5.30 then?

Meet at the WYC shop?

Its too damn hot down here, our lass wants to go to the flippin beach :gag:, traffic is hideous, wifi is bab, the dog won't walk anywhere and its full of brummies.
Had enough of you lot avoiding me so I'm getting the train back to good ole yarksha for the day...:p

Traitor! Well, as long as you're coming back, that's the main thing :D

Thanks for a very enjoyable night last night guys! Bit of a shame my RB67 took a fall and the film was written off but hopefully it should be working again soon. At least I have the satisfaction of knowing that the stone slab it fell onto probably came off worse than the camera! :D

Just now wondering when the effects of the Sagrés will wear off!

No worries! It was good fun :D Did either of you lose a chunk of rubber grip from your cameras? Some mysterious piece appeared in our shop and we can't figure out which camera it is from...

So much beer...

Just checked Robbington's Fuji and seems fine with it, there are probably several bits of my RB by the canal where it met the ground but I don't think anything came off ours when we were in your shop!

So much beer indeed, I'm chain drinking tea in the hope it'll flush it all out!

I'll hopefully join you guys next time this happens, unfortunately my evening was spent with an accountant rather than out shooting and drinking beer haha.

We should get another one sorted! Be great to maybe try make it a semi regular thing, like every month or every few weeks maybe? I mean, it's not like we *need* an excuse to take photos and drink beer is it?

We should definitely do more on a regular basis... maybe even a camera club type of thing going if there's enough interest!

Ooh mark, please do!

Don't worry. It's a bit like doing your own car repairs. You have bits left over at the end but it still works!

Steve.
