I recieved my pack today and am already conconcting some strange ideas for playing with them! Brings back memories of the hours I spent thumbing though the older version of the same swatch book while designing lighting for theatre, I forgot just how many colour and diffuser options there were!

Good idea lol, I'm thinking of having a play with one in front of the lens, not sure how to go about it yet though.

got some of these as well...not sure what I'm going to do with them though

I'm intrigued by the name of the filter on page 92 though!

lol

A word of advice for others using these filters. Buy a chinagraph pencil and write the number of the filters in a corner when you tear them out. I'll be finding some I like and doing this, as when in studio I can order larger sheets of it without scrabling trying to remember the name and/or number of the gel.

That's a cracking idea Craig. But I'm just too damned lazy :D

lmao, it's a good idea though. it'd certainly be easier to organise, and the extra width'd make it easier to attach them. His softbox mount idea looks pretty nifty too.

Whats the best way that people have found getting them apart?

I don't know the best way, but I just carefully cut along to where they're fastened and removed them one at a time. That way the others are still together for future use.

i just take the one end of the green tube off (pop it off) and take the required filter then stick something were it goes and then i know were to put it back :D

Whoooohooooo mine arrived today after the second time of requesting. All good. I think i may have to have ashort lunch break so i can go home early to make a filter holder!!
