I'm not exactly a newbie to photography, but still very much at the beginning of my journey when it comes to doing more than point and click.

Been through plenty cameras in my time, including film slr some time back, but took this horrible side-step journey to compacts and bridges - not to take anything away from those as they are still capable of taking great photos - but I should have invested more in photography, to keep me sane occupied.

So I finally ended up with an interchangeable lens system beginning of year again in form of Samsung NX1000, then NX300, but, while potentially a great system, was plagued with annoyances.

Swapped over to a Sony a65, and haven't looked back!

Have bought myself a bunch of lenses (Sigma 17-50 f2.8, Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6, Sigma 18-250mm OS, Sigma 150mm macro, Sony 35mm f1.8, and Tamron 70-300mm USD), of which I love every single one (though my macro is my favourite).

Will be starting a bunch of threads, as I need critique in order to get better!
