Leap second... did it affect you?

Yes
A couple of my MythTV machines here went haywire last night and had the myth process running at full CPU as well as corrupting my database (easily fixed but...). Looks like the leap second they added last night at midnight caused a lot of problems including Quantas booking system going down:

and The Pirate Bay:

Anyone else had to reboot a machine today because it was doing weird things?

No, but I feel as if I have jet lag. Extra seconds don't do me any good at all, and give me bad wind.

If only I could do a reboot.

Actually on thinking about it, it may not have been anything to do with the leap second, but more to do with the second, third and forth jägermeister last night, plus the beers of course

Nope, no tech problems in my place, all servers, routers and switches accounted for. Don't know about work though, will find out tomorrow I guess.

Everything working fine here,

Not sure about works server, will have to check when I go in

:)

Didn't know there was one! I guess I slept through it.

Well the machine that was running my media server went into melt down (>90% CPU) but it was not running mythtv - mediatomb as a close relative. Maybe something shared between the two?
I should have looked into what was using the cpu cycles I guess ...
