LBW4 filter..

Never heard of it. Give us a clue and we can probably guess.
 
I believe it is a very old filter of the "warming" type , it has a very slight pink or amber tone. Probably a Minolta or Kenko code number.
There's one for sale on Ebay.

that,s the one I saw, wondered what LBW stands for.
 
It's a Kenko amber colour balancing filter (warm up)

L - possibly means Light
B - possibly means Balancing
W - possibly means Warm
4 - possibly the strength
 
So it's not for photographing cricket then....... :D

It would be interesting to see the results.

Just looking at it, I think that colour/density filter is better known as 1/2 CTO these days, such as you would put over a flash to balance with tungsten ambient light. Looks very close.
