layers question

If I open 2 pictures in CS5 and drag one on top of the other holding down the Ctrl key to make a layer of one over the other how do I get them to snap into place without having to line them up exactly

Been driving me nuts tonight :bang: cant remember how to do it
have tried the snap to comand on the veiw tab but it does not work

what i'm doing is using neat image on a copy of the shot to remove noise then opening it in photoshop and dragging it onto the origanal and using a layer mask
help please had to stop before I lost my temper with it !!

Just read Colin's (Hacker) excellent tutorial , Ive got to hold down the shift key as well as Ctrl just tried it works a treat

Just hold the shift key whilst dragging. Will put image on a new layer and automatically line it up.
