I've been cruising around in the Talk Equipment forum for almost a month but figured I should really stop in here to at least say hello.
So, erm... Hello !!!
I'm looking to rekindle my interest in photography after my only previous DSLR (Canon 300D) developed an AF problem a couple of years ago and I never got round to sorting it out.
Already being the owner of a trio of Canon EF lenses (plus a recently-acquired nifty fifty) I will be buying a Canon DSLR very soon. Spent the last few weeks reading around to figure out which camera is for me. After much deliberation I'm hoping to buy a 50D as I want something with decent build quality, good performance and great image quality. (also I really like the sound of AF Micro-Adjustment). I ruled out the 60D as I don't like the flip-out screen or the video functionality. Would like to buy a 7D at some point but can't quite justify the price tag at the moment.
