I'm after a couple of softboxes to use at home and a bit of portability. I have umbrellas but would like a bit more control. These will be used with Speedlites, 600RT's.

I'm thinking either the Lastolite 54cm ezybox or 60cm westcott apollo.

Or would you recommend the smaller ones?

I already have interfit light stands and umbrella brackets, is there anything else I need to attach these softboxes to a speedlight? I don't want to end up paying twice for postage when I realise I have missed something from the set up :D

Thanks for any help or advice :)

Ive got the westcott apollo, lightweight, versatile, folds down small, great bit of kit. I bought it after it was recommended to me on here

I have a couple of the westcott apolo soft boxes. They fit onto a standard umbrella mount and I can't fault them.

That westcott in the video doesn't look up to much, certainly not worth £120, you could probably get similar on ebay for around £25

Yea that's what I was saying. The ezybox build quality seems night and day compared to the westcott

I've got an Ezybox and the quality is excellent. Last time I used it I had it high on a light stand pointing down at quiet a steep angle. The Apollo would be far too restrictive for me.
