Hi

For those of you that use HiLites, what have you found the best for lighting the trail to get a smooth flow of white?

Any advice?

thanks

use photoshop mostly :)

adjust white balance and curves...thats the easiest option if your struggling with lights

would like to get it correct from the start to reduce the amount of photoshopping

I think that you will have to blat it with some extra light to get it white. I used a couple of speedlights in my thread here.

It worked but the more light you push into a set the more light you have to control. I had issues with contrast and spill and later in the thread above tried using a much bigger location with a much higher ceiling.

Tried this again with my set up and raising the front flash head and pointing it down more lit the trail although not enough, thinking i may try with a two smaller falshes pointing directly and the trail to see how that works. dont really want to have to reply to much on photoshoping afterwards.

cheers

found a cheap jessops flash positioned onto the trail seems to light it without any major issues

still struggling with this even using acrylic flooring, it appeared grey.

i have one light in the hilite and one keylight, would it be worth using a third flash point lower down to light the floor?
