Lastolite Hilite Background Advice

I have a 6ft x 7ft lastolite hilite background which has got a horrible yellow stain on it.
Does anybody have any ideas as to how to clean this? I've tried a mild bleach & water solution but this has not worked.
Was thinking about steam cleaning, but am unsure if this will damage the material.
Anybody got any experience with this or any advice?

Give vanish a go.
Never had a background so someone who has more experience of the fabric may be along soon with better info than I can give.

I use that Doktor power stuff - the sponge, slightly wet - its amazing stuff (I have the same background, bloody huge thing)

Have you tried contacting Lastolite. I wouldn't have thought this is an uncommon issue

I have yes. They said, and I quote, "we cannot recommend a way of cleaning this, but we can do a good deal on an ex demo"

Milton Sterilising Fluid is great for getting stains out of white things.

Cheers guys. I think I'll just give all these a go and see what happens. Worst case I'll have to go looking for a new one.

On the other hand, a light stain, like a bit of yellowing, is unlikely to show up in use.

On the other hand, a light stain, like a bit of yellowing, is unlikely to show up in use.

Unfortunately it's enough to show in any photos that are more than just head and shoulder shots.
