Hi everyone,

I have a couple of speedlites, one SB800, and one SB600. I also have two konig lighting stands along with accompanying umbrellas. The problem is the umbrellas always blow over outdoors (thanks wind), and I don't have anywhere to shoot indoors. Can anyone tell me what they make of Lasolite's Ezybox Speedlite 22cm softboxes? Are they worth having, or too small to make that much of a difference. Also, will they blow in the wind too, or won't I have the same problem! :)

Thanks for your help everyone!

EDIT: If someone could change the name of the thread to "Lasolite Ezybox Speedlite 22cm Softboxes - Worth it?", it would be appreciated!

You would be better off with a larger softboxes or a westcott apollo 28", 22cm isn't really big enough.. Can you not weigh the stands down with sandbags or weights?

PS.. if you edit your post and click the advance tab then you can edit the title yourself..

I would say you probably need to go for bigger. I agree with the sandbags comment and possibly tent pegs if you're on soft ground.

You might want to take a look at the Saberstrips (www.saberstrip.com) which do a good job in windy situations. I put a review of them in the reviews section, or there is plenty of info on their website

The 22cm ones are great for use on camera reduces harsh shadows very well better than enything else I have tried but off camera you still want somthing larger.
