Largest softbox for speedlite?

I use the Lencarta 120cm folding octobox with my sb800 with one of these...

Bowens S fit, very well made out of solid metal and has a neat rubber collar to prevent the speedlight being marked.

Brilliant kit and comes with a 7inch reflector

Edit.....Link with price

Thanks for suggesting this combination, I'm going to give it a try with my SB900. I bought a cheap(er) folding softbox a little while ago, but the poor quality of its construction makes me think I won't be able to depend on it.

Buy cheap, buy twice... :bonk:

Oh, there's currently a 5% Lencarta discount available.

That 50" Apollo seems to get mixed reviews with the negatives ranging from poor quality construction to limited tilt ability. Presumably, getting access to the flash controls means having to open up the softbox?

TBH im not sure how the flashes are mounted but clearly it can be done(and im sure it can be done without making making adjustments difficult).....as for limited tilt thats going to be obvious given the size and weight issues.

Have to say though what ever reviews there are....... some of the shots that Dustin has from using it are exceptional.

The light stand appears to go into the body of the Westcox softbox itself. Clearly, the stand shaft will limit how far you can tilt the softbox.

Dustin was noticed before he got that particular softbox and would no doubt get exceptional shots using any other equivalent softbox.

To get more tilt on the Westcotts you have to double head them as in use two umbrella adaptors to mount the soft box.

Cheers
