But my D60 is just as good in all honesty (I did a test shot, same lens both cameras, no bloody difference:bonk

Prices in technology drop all the time, I'm not sure what the big deal is? I got my D3 a couple of weeks after release, do I care it's cheaper now? Nope because I've been using it and got my moneys worth...
Oh and I really hope the D3x or whatever is actually an 18MP sensor, but with the noise quality of the D3, but from ISO 100-3200 with 6400 as the boosted ISO. That'd be spot on
