Yes
I have recently taken a photograph for a client that is 3.2m x 60cm (126" x 24").

The client has asked for the photograph to be mounted and framed behind glass, and now I am stuck.

I have tried a few local framing companies here in Devon, they all say they can frame it but the glass is a problem, they cannot get glass over 84" wide.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

A shame you're not further up North!

Yes - glass over 24" x 36" is usually most framers limitations. Anything over normally needs to be specially ordered from glass distribution.

If you are really struggling I can put you in touch with our suppliers. Only problem is we're in West Yorkshire - as are they!

Jeez that's some photo - can we have a look?

My South Yorkshire framers laugh at anything less that 20ft long, our glass is such class (better than the West Yorks peeps)

Oky -- I'm lying , if LeeP can do it Go LeeP!!!

Yorkshire is Yorkshire.

'nuff said!

You probably want to be looking at flexi-glass alternatives too. A sheet of glass that size is absolutely guaranteed to crack. And if it falls down and lands on someone ......

Have just pinged a mail off to Pearsons about this for you. Will be in touch.

I've managed to get a sheet for you. Can you contact me via PM / phone :)

Cheers

glass that size is going to be quite heavy as well . weight of glass is about , height x width x thickness x 2.5 (all metric ) so a piece 2mm thick would weigh 9.6 kilos . but then handling a piece of 2mm that size is going to be awkward to say the least .
