I need a clamp for a gopro that will go on a 10-12 inch round pole... I have googled but am getting lost :( Any idea anyone please? I can use a standard screw same as any tripod as i have converters to gopro
 
Cableties plus a mountplate or may be a gopro helmet strap from Amazon?
Just ideas, not done so myself

I had been using gaffa tape so I wanted someone more stable and easier to remover
 
its a large upright 10 inch plus wide pole .. so needs a proper clamp big enouhg..... or back to gaffa tape i dont really want :(

Depends on the strap!

Something like neoprene fishing rod bands (only longer) would do the job. https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/15903468/ngt-2pc-rod-bands-made-up-rods-15903468 They're stretch neoprene with Velcro hooks.

Tried velcro straps they slide down. the pole isnt rigid and will shake now and then :(

its ten nch all the way around BTW :)

Ten inch circumference? Then you might find a neoprene strap that will do the job - or 'stick' two together. As well as being stretchy the neoprene will be grippy too.

What you want is one of those elastic straps they use when they take blood samples.
It would be easy to mock something up with it.

That might work.....

A couple of Velcro tourniquets linked together for length and strongly elastic enough to "grip" the pole!

I must be getting mixed up... 3inch is not in this :) its 10 inch accross then... I need the clamp to go 10 inch wide... I have the manfrotto super clamp.. no good at all
 
How about a roof rack strap with go pro mount attached? These are very quick to get on and off and grip very tight.
 
Of course I don't think there are any pole dancers that are members on here that can advise on the best grip

Could a cambuckle strap work with a mount plate? Could melt a hole through the strap for a bolt or fixing
