Yes
I have a laptop stand but I am thinking of getting a new one that I can adjust to a suitable height as I feel mine is a little low

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations ?

I was thinking of something like THIS or THIS

I use a Belkin kneepad cushion and a Cooler Master stand, but never any of the adjustable stands. One client used these types of stand for a while, but switched to docking stations. At a desk the tall stands are ok if the laptop has a decent screen size, but they need a separate keyboard and mouse anyway.

It depends how you're going to use it, which you don't say.

Thanks.... Going to be using it for Photoshop. I do use a stand now which is OK but just needs to be a little higher so its better eye level

If it were me out of the two of them I would buy the first one

I've bought two recently for relatives.

If you are using an external keyboard, this

Absolutely fine with a 15.6" ThinkPad

I also bought one of these for a 17" Vaio, but preferred the first one:

As both tilt the base of the laptop up, the maximum height is restricted by the displays maximum angle of tilt.
Both bring the laptop monitor high enough so that the base is at least level with an external monitor, itself on a height adjustable stand to raise the display to a sensible height (top of third of display about level with eyeline)

Ergonomics are tres important to me, so getting the display height right is important when I'm setting up a desk for someone.

Thank you very much they both look good to me. What do you mean using an external keyboard... Do you just mean the built in one of the laptop. My screen is 17" but I see the first will take that size and its a good price

By external keyboard, I mean a normal PC keyboard connected to the laptop via USB. Thus you can ergonomically place keyboard irrespective of laptop tilt.

Ahh right I see - You could still use laptop keyboard though right ?

Actually I read that first price wrong - I thought it said £9 it £51

I've been using a Kensington Easy Rider stand for about 5 years now. Excellent product offering four heights/angles, but my laptop is a 13" Vaio and I'm not sure how well it will work with a larger one.

I found it very easy to find the height/angle that works for me, but I've become so used to it now that I struggle to use the laptop flat on a desk. The keyboard just feels very awkward.
