I am after some help/advice, i am thinking about upgrading my laptop, i have listed some of my current spec below.

This was purchased prior to me starting photograpghy and i feel a better spec computer would help with my PP.

it's good laptop after all !!!

i would just get SSD drive (128GB+), and use internal drive via usb caddy. That will improve the performance.

its a pain trying to calibrate the screen and i dont have the room to have both a laptop and additional monitor.

no laptop has good screen. They are all waste (apple included). We can all dream about a larger ipad3 style screens in the next gen. For now it is a good IPS monitor I'm afraid.

The laptop could do with SSD and 8GB RAM if you want more speed. As mentioned, there is nothing really bad about it.
