Laptop From WEX

Has anyone bought a computer from WEX? I know they are pretty good for photographic equipment, but was wondering about computing.

I am interested in a new Macbook Pro Retina 15". At WEX it's £1672 and at the Apple store it's £1799, thats a saving of £127, worth considering I think.

If there is anyone else on the forum using this laptop for image processing, I would be interested in any feedback, good, or bad.

We've got a 13" Retina (i7, 8gb RAM, 512gb SSD) and its easily fast enough for editing - it was bought primarily for running intensive statistical simulations.

Not bought a computer from WEX but I'd have no hesitation. Only thing to consider is if you're planning to buy Applecare I think Apple will do a reduced price if you buy it at the same time as the Macbook (at least they did the last time I bought using student discount at the Apple store - I'm assuming its the same when paying full price), so you might want to factor this in to the total cost

Thanks James. I hadn't thought of Applecare, but I will have look. My wife has an Ipad, which she likes a lot. My old Acer is almost snails pace now, so was looking at this laptop as replacement.
