Does anyone have experience with Asus laptops for photo editing? It will be my supportive laptop but still want to work it well. It is about 130£ difference in price.

Depends on CPU and GPU and of course price
 
for X1504VA with Intel i5-1335U processor speed is 4.6 GHz and processor count 10, Intel HD Graphics 1335 integrated -price about £450
for X1504VA with Intel i7-1335U 1.7 GHz (12mb cache, up to 5.0 GHz, 10 cores, 12 Threads, Intel Iris Xe Graphics - price about £580

And it also matters what software you will use for editing. Generally having a separate graphics processor is helpful, depending on what software and what kind of editing you want to do.

Photoshop and Lightroom Classic combo, sometimes I want to use it for light 3D work but it is not a must. Just wondering if these are good deals and tired of searching.Could potentially spend up to £1000 if somebody sends me a a good deal

The other thing to remember is that the screen should be IPS and capable of >95% sRGB, plus at least full HD if not better. I bought a Lenovo Flex 5 with a 16" screen for a bit over £500 about 2 years ago, and that's not been too bad for the money. Previous machine was a Dell 15" XPS9530, which was a much nicer computer for about double the cost.

I'd check the Dell outlet store and also Lenovo to see what's available.

yes, for colour accuracy, they are doing only full HD I guess , not a problem though, I work with external monitors. As mentioned wont be searching more
 
If you are intending to link to the external monitors using one of the generic 3rd Party usb multi-function docking hubs, do check that the USB port on the laptop is compatible - sometimes with cheaper laptops they'll fit an older spec USB port which then won't work with the dock.
 
Good point - my Lenovo will drive 2 screens through the usb C port and a dock.

HDMI cable so far
 
Hp 17’ touchscreen , about £700- 800 can be upgraded to 64gb for about 2-300 , and i have fitted a 4tb m2 drive, it fast and resonabaly cheep.
Photoshop and adobe are handlesd with no problems, it has 2 usb 3 Ports , hdmi. And 3 usb full size ports not sure on weather they are 2 or 3. Well worth a look,

Have look on Dell outlet.
You can pick up an Inspiron 16" with Intel i7. 32gb ram, 1tb nvme and a Nvidia graphics card for under 1K.
The display isn't very bright but if you are using it mainly at home it should be fine.
I've been looking at these but waited too long and it would be delivered when we're on holiday.
 
I learned the hard way that it's better to have more hardware leverage than you originally thought you'd need (if we can afford it!).
