What's your budget - that is probably the primary variable in helping to assess/recommend a suitable laptop.

Also, is weight/size a particular consideration.

The key things to look at are RAM (often cheaper to upgrade after you buy), processor and GPU. The more of each means a better CS6 experience and the ability to still perform as the software is upgraded and needs more power.

Another key consideration is screen resolution. The higher the resolution, the more space you have on screen for your photo and the CS tools although you could always plug in to an external monitor.

In addition to looking at the usual makes, you culd have one built to your spec by http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/laptops/. They have a very good reputation for both their laptops and support. At the moment, you can get £50 off using code MP154 at checkout.
They use generic Clevo cases so look for those in reviews.

Configure this one http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/optimusVI-15/ with a quad core i7, 8Gb RAM and it will fly at under £800 (with the code above). THere is a review of this exact same Clevo chassis and screen here: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Schenker-XMG-A505-Clevo-N150SD-Notebook-Review.137736.0.html

Another route to consider is the Dell Outlet Store
